I'm a SAHM mom of 7 mo. fraternal boys. During naptime, I double as a freelance writer. Also from St. Louis; I heard about your site from Kelly in the St. Louis Mothers of Twins Club. Thanks Kelly!

I found you through Dona who posted above. I live in MA with my husband and we do not have kids yet. Trying for many years now with no luck. I keep coming back for more laughs. Great blog.

I found your blog through a newly wed website. I moved to NYC a little over a year ago with my husband. No kids yet, maybe next year. It is refreshing to see a blog from a stay at home dad point of view.

I don't know what happened to my original post. I found your blog through a newly wed site. I moved to NYC a little over a year ago from Michigan. No kids yet, maybe next year. It is interesting to see a stay at home dad point of view.

I am a mother of 4 boys ages 11, 9, 2 and 2. I live in the St Louis burbs. I am a new reader to your blog. I have been catching up on old posts periodically. I enjoy how you describe life with twins. It is such a challenge some days, and a blessing others. I have the tween also so I have the troubles on both sides.

I'm the Gmama, the proud former SAHM of The Dad and his older brother. Today I may be the most proud of the fact that The Dad thinks I know what my IP address is and that I might be capable of masking it? I wanted to post my comment ages ago, but Gmama and Gdada, our names compliments of Kathryn, have been MORE THAN A LITTLE BUSY! While The Dad and The Mom are on their two day weekend, the TWO of us have been trying to do the impossible. "Busy" now has an entirely different meaning, and our hats off to ALL of you out there - but especially to The Dad and The Mom who have managed to keep most of their sanity whilst rearing these three precious girls. We both love the blog but cannot fathom where you even find the time to put two sentences together! But don't stop now, Gdada and I are addicted.

I saw a link on Baristanet, followed it, and almost fell out of my chair laughing at the goings on at your house; in fact, my husband has been known to read your postings if I'm out-of-control laughing at what you've written. I've become a fan. My two kids are in middle and high school and the 'funny stuff' that happens at our house is quite different from what's happening at your house! All the Best.

Wow, Dad, you have so many fans! I'm not surprised of course, but impressed... and not a little proud to know ya.

Anyway, I met The Mom way back when she showed up in my prenatal yoga class while we were both pregnant with twin girls. I still teach the class, albeit with a MUCH smaller tummy. Now our twins have regular playdates that I must admit are the number one reason I am still moderately sane (no snarky comments here, Dad). Thanks for all the laughs, on- and off-line. I sure do love that Looky Daddy Family!

I'm a university student in BC, Canada. I found your blog today, following a link from Dante's Inferno with Children. I don't have kids, but I enjoy your sense of humour and will most likely be back to read again.

I'm the mother of a HS senior, soon to make his way out into the world. Found your blog from Baristanet. Your writing is vivid and hilarious, and your descriptions of life with several ankle-biters is like looking back thru time.

That's okay, I sometimes talk about Baristanet commenters with my boyfriend as though I know them in real life, usually about the ones I hate though. I don't have children, I'm only 21, but I have a chihuahua who I think may be a human trapped in a little dude's body, oh I love that little man. I can't believe you have this many readers in as little as 3 or 4 months.

Hi! I am a SAHM to 4 children..A 10 year old son, 2.5 year old twin boys, and an 11 month old baby girl(bigger surprise than the twins! Can you say "Oops!")! I found your blog by way of the Twinstuff MessageBoard a little over a week ago... and have absolutely loved reading your tales of twinage plus one.. Things that should/should not come in two's.. HAHA I love reading from the daddy point of view. Oh and that description of the phone call to a friend,... cracked me up! I think I have that exact conversation at least once a day!! If someone calls and I can talk uninterrupted... I will always get the wonderful "Where are the kids?" question! As if I must have gagged then, tied them up and hidden them in the closet! :) (I have the suspicion that every thinks I am one crack away from insanity! LOL)
OHHH almost forgot... another Texan here too.

Actually I guess I'm really An Uncle but The Uncle seems so much cooler. Brother of The Dad, perhaps I'll arm wrestle brother of The Mom over The Uncle title, loser henceforth known as The Other Uncle. Actually first I need to think of a contest I'd be more likely to win.

I've been reading this blog since the beginning and I have to say that I'm addicted too. It's a wonderful treat to read about how things are going for everyone, but I think laughing out loud is what keeps me coming back daily!

thanks so much for making me laugh. I am home on maternity leave and go back to work in a little more than 2 weeks. I have a 10 week old and a three and a half year old. Both boys. I live in St. Louis and love being a mom -- it's the best thing yet - and I also love my outside the home job managing a clean air education and outreach program.

I also learned of your blog from the St. Louis Mothers of Twins Club website. The first time I read it I added it to my favorites. I have 3 y/o fraternal twin boys...along with 2 dogs, 3 cats (1 of which is a kitten) and 1 husband. This house is crazy, but full of love. I work full time in Quality Improvement for a health insurance company. I admire SAHMs & SAHDs because I'm sure I would compeltely loose my sanity if I didn't work. Part time would be my ideal, but unrotunatley it didn't work that way in this house.

I have some catching up to do, I've only just heard of your blog. I can't wait to read more, it's comforting to hear of others woo's of twinship!

I learned about your blog when you so kindly added me to your blogroll. :) (http://www.cookienotes.blogspot.com)

Your stories make me laugh on a regular basis, and I enjoy popping in for a visit.

I'm a Canadian Mom of one who, when I'm not twarting science experiments in the garage, is also a Special Ed paraprofessional.

Another Texan as well.....received a link to your site via a fellow poster on my BabyCenter.com birth board. A sense of humor like yours comes around only so often and tickles us all completely. I read all of your archives the first night that I found the site. I laughed so hard, I cried...one of those the more you try to stop - the harder you laugh, laughs. Those are my favorites.
Your daily posts are full of wit and sarcasm and keep me coming back for more. But I also love, love, love to read the comments of The Mom, The Gmama and The Uncle (or is it The Other Uncle, yet?). Easy to see that your whole family is blessed with the type of humor that keeps us going!

Laughs And Blessings!

Oh geez......I forgot to mention that besides being a Texan...I am a SAHM of 4 year old Emma and 4 month old Lawson. (DOH!) Married nearly 8 years to Michael.

I am the Gdada. I have been laughing at The Second Son’s (now The Dad) writings for as long as he has been sending letters home. I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who goes back and rereads his views that he so wonderfully paints with words.
Needless to say, I think Kathryn and The Twins are the luckiest girls in the world to have The Dad as their SAHD. Most of his day is spent conversing with 3 ladies under 6. Comment responses from you adults out there must brighten his day.
The Dad makes it hard for me to find hats that fit.

I live in DE, married to a SAHM, and think you're stories are great. I double majored in Psychology and Philosophy (I could be unemployed and understand why). Now I'm managing a restaurant, so... I was close.
My wife told me about your site, I don't know where she found it but I have read the whole archives and left outdated comments along the way. We just have one two and a half year old daughter, and appreciate your advice to stop now.

Wow and thanks. I am humbled by the response and the sheer width and breadth of my readers. It's great to finally put some details into the names that keep springing up under my posts, and let me assure you I read, nay devour, all comments that you guys post. So keep it up and so will I. There's plenty of laughs yet to be had.

I'm a Minnesota mom with twinfant idential girls - 6 months old. I visited your blog based on a recommendation on twinstuff.com. I'm so glad I've come here - love your wit!

I'm an advertising executive/writer, and my blog is www.sweetmarysunshine.blogspot.com. Feel free to check out some of my tales of twin parenting, too. Life is certainly adventure, isn't it?

I'm the father of 2 year old twin girls and until recently lived in Dallas until the Wife (also named Kathryn) and I decided to go back to California. I'm a cartoonist (read: I do something else to make a living) and I keep a blog at my website which I have the unfortunate habit of updating about once very lunar equinox :)
Keep up the good work!

Greetings from Beantown! I've known The Mom and The Dad since our grad school days in Tempe, Arizona. We used to mountain bike, drink Fat Tire and Shiner Bock, and sweat our bo-bos off in the brutal heat. Once, The Mom and The Dad borrowed my car for the summer -- my BLACK car (mind you, the desert is not kind to the color black) -- and I received a call from The Mom that the rearview mirror had melted off the windshield! Ah, those were the days!

I am not A Mom to any human, but I'm one of those crazy people that considers her golden retriever a sort of child. :) Until I have one of my own, I can now live a parent's life virtually through The Dad.

My fiance and I have a blog, but it has nothing to do with children, but it has everything to do with what any stressed-out parent needs: winetasters.blogspot.com

I’m a little late, but I just found you today. I’m Judie, SAHM of six children ages 12-5 and the Three under Three Club. We were surprised last December to learn we were expecting number 5, only to find out at 30 weeks that number five was indeed number 5 AND 6. I learned of your blog this morning on a twin message board called GotTwinz. I have been cruising your site far too long this morning, but with 4 month old twins, I sure needed the laugh. I think I have become an instant fan of The Dad and The Mom!
