You're probably going to want to watch her around the steak knives (you currently allow her to juggle them, right?), lest she lop off an ear as a first step on her painful road to artistic glory.
Any goals I had wished to accomplish today--by pain or otherwise--have now been put on hold as I seek medical attention after choking on my lunch while reading this post.
I looked at this and I laughed because other people were sitting around the table with me but inside I felt sick because I realised Kathryn is right and also because she failed to tell me HOW MUCH PAIN is necessary before I can finally say I am an arttis.
She sounds like a Russian heavy in a bad action film. "My goal is to know where you hide documents. I will accomplish goal by pain."

My goal was to be a mother. I accomplished my goal by pain, too.

Now that is priceless.
The little red.. people? in the background... I hope those aren't the ones she..er..pained.
And seriously, whose first grader uses the word "accomplish"? Sounds like The Dad's knack for words is rubbing off on her... ;)

I agree she sounds Russian-- "I will accomplish goal by pain, Boris, then I will get moose and squirrel, then we drink wodka."

What a gem. Love it.

Maybe being a sibling of twins is more difficult than we thought. One more reason my husband is cut off until he gets the snip.
