Oh my goodness..that poor baby...and poor you guys. Is she allright??
dawn

damn.

Poor Kathryn!! I had a break in 5th grade, same bone, same place--some snot on the playground tripped me while running (and I'm still bitter). My mom picked me up to drive me to the doctor and kept saying, "It's NOT broken!" even though it looked EXACTLY like your drawing of Kathryn's after the cast came off. Good news: totally fine now, works just like the other one. In fact, I'm assured that because of the way bone remodels while healing, that arm is actually STRONGER. Too geeky to make you feel better?? Certainly not useful for sweet Kathryn, but I like a cool fact here and there...

oh my gosh! wow. Kathryn is amazing to get through all of this at such a young age. I hope that things take a turn for the better now for you all. it's about time! take care. good thoughts to all of you from me and mine.

OUCH.

Build a Bear gift card is in the mail. Hope you get it soon!

wow...that's all I got...

This was officially your first post that gave me tunnel vision. Good thing I'm still sitting down.

My poor, sweet little Kathryn! Does she want to come over and play some Wii?

GAH.
Also OW OW OW OWWWWWW.

That poor kid. You poor parents!

I hope it heals properly this time.

Yiiikkkkkkeeeessss!

Are you guys at least getting a frequent visitor discount at the hospital yet?

Because you should be.

Oh my god, I am so, so sorry! I can't even.... Oh, poor girl. How's your heart holding up to all that?

Jesus! They didn't even knock her out!? Freaks! I seriously threw up in my mouth a little when I read that. Poor girl! Poor you guys!

Oh, my lord that poor child. Nix the Webkins, she needs a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop. Stat. And maybe a trip to Build-A-BEER workshop for mom and dad???

Egad. *Just* a shot? They did the same thing to me when I was 10, and they put me completely out for the procedure. I was sore for days afterwards. She (and you) have my deepest sympathies.

Holy crap! How much more hell do you guys need to go through. Damn!

So sorry LD. Heart goes out to K and the whole LD family right now. I hope lots of ice cream for you both (with warm spoons) can take the edge off. Ugh poor, poor baby! :(

You should really buy a lottery ticket. The stats attaching to your family are outstanding.

I think I'm going to vomit.

What drugs did they give you and the Mom?

OMG.
I never use initials like that but I had to shorten it so I could get this part in: OH MY GOD!
Your poor Kathryn.
And poor you and poor Kathryn's mom.
I'm ouching for you all!

Loving my kids in the masthead today! How appropriate, as they celebrate the last night of freedom before going back to school...thanks, LD!
As for Kathryn - Enough. Just. Enough. The tide really has to turn...

Ugh! how awful!!!! Poor Kathryn...poor The Dad and The Mom. Wishing good thoughts to her arm healing better this time around. :(

ow. Ow. OW. OW!
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow.

That post was visceral. That experience sounds horrible. I am so sorry she, and all of you, had to go through that.

Ow.

I'm so sorry!

My God. Now she cannot catch ANY kind of break, can she.

Ack.

Mother of freaking god. Make it stop.

Holy carp! Will it ever end?! My condolences. I'll have a good stiff drink on you and some strawberry Nesquick on Kathryn. Unless she hates strawberry Nesquick. Then tell me what she likes and I'll raise one of those to her. Jeez... This year has GOT to end.
